About Us

Meet the artisan behind the code and discover what drives our passion for typing things manually (and our questionable life choices).

Our Story

At Handmade Coding, our keyboards are mechanical, our coffee is single-origin, and our code is farm-to-table. Every line is lovingly typed by yours truly—no AI hallucinations, no Copilot mishaps, just pure human error and questionable decision-making.

We believe that software should be crafted, not generated. Each project is a unique journey of debugging, cursing, and eventually making things work through sheer stubbornness.

Our mission: bring the art back into software development, one pixel and semicolon at a time. (No, we don't use pen and paper first—we're not that crazy.)

  1. 2005 First 'Hello, world!' (took 6 months, really made sure those characters were perfect)
  2. 2015 Discovered distributed systems. Still not sure what they do, but they sound important.
  3. 2025 Launching Handmade Coding. Yes, we're aware IDEs have autocomplete. We turn it off for authenticity.

Meet the Artisan

It's just me, really. One person with a keyboard, a dream, and a questionable sense of humor. I craft code with passion, precision, and an unhealthy amount of caffeine.
